What is ISO?
ISO is the setting on your camera that will let your brighten or darken your image. As you increase your ISO number, your photos will be getting brighter each time. ISO can help you capture images in darker environments, or be more flexible about your aperture and shutter speed settings. However, raising your ISO has consequences , for example a photo taken too high might be really bright and you might now be able to use it. You should only raise your ISO when you are unable to brighten the photo via shutter speed or aperture instead (for example, if using longer shutter speed would case your subject to be blurry).

My best image is the one of the left because I like the ISO that has been used, whereas the one on the right is too overly exposed and it's blurry and I don't like the ISO that's been used.
