What is white balance?
White balance (WB) is the process of removing unrealistic color cast, so that objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo. Proper camera white balance has to take into account the 'colour temperature' of a light source, which refers to the relative warmth or coolness of white balance.
Why is white balance important?
white balance is important because it's a setting on your camera used to control how the colours are captured in different types of light. The colour temperatures range from a cool blue tint to an orange warm tint. Using the right white balance setting will eliminate unwanted colour casts than can ruin your image and make it look unnatural.

My examples of white balance
The different types of filters on White balance are; Tungten, flourescent, daylight, cloudy, shade & auto white balance
My best Image is the one on the left because I like the type of filter that's been used and my worst Image is the one on the right because I don't like the filter been used and it's blurry.
